Thoughtwaves

Sheep have a special way of communicating. It’s called THOUGHTWAVES. We don’t need a phone or a computer or even a postage stamp:
Did you get it, Jacob? I sent you another one in a cloud, which I hoped would float over to you and come down in tiny soft tears of rain over your wool.
I’ve since received hundreds of thoughtwaves from all over the world – warm, sunny, rainy, short, quiet, noisy … and here are just a few to give you a taste.

Just like in the story there are things that drive us apart in real life. They can be small things but also big things, like war, hate, riots, quarrels …

Dear Skye and Jacob,
Your book was very good and I am very happy for you both. It’s special that you gave names to each other. I know how you feel, not feeling or looking like the rest are two different things. You need your friends and family just like me. I don’t know what I would do without them, just the little things that make all the difference.
Lots of love,
Katie

Hi Skye,
People have problems just like sheep. With me it is because I am tall. Lots of children are smaller than me. But I don’t want to be the smallest either. How would you solve this problem or could you tell me about the advantages of being tall? Thanks for listening to me.

My Daddy has sheep and I often wonder if he has one in his flock that thinks she isn’t like other sheep, like you did Skye! My parents are presently renovating a house for B and B’s and perhaps they might also come across a B & B sheep similar to you. I am glad you came back and I hope you will write another book.
With love from Matt

Dear Skye and Jacob,
I feel at home in parts of the book because it is sad and beautiful at the same time.

I feel at home in my own country, because there I can speak my own language and I know all the words.

Dear Skye,
I am Ramina, a refugee. I had to leave everything behind when I fled my country. My granny and my cat are still there. We didn’t have anything. Best of all I like being in Poland. Poland is my country. That’s where my friends and my family are.

Hi Skye,
Perhaps I myself might go and travel for a bit as I enjoyed reading about your adventures. There is one thing for sure though … I also will return home!
Kim

Dear Skye,
If you are not afraid you can do a lot of things!
Greetings to Jacob and Jacuzzi.
Esther

Skye,
I am glad that you gave up being a souvenir sheep. You would be too big for a mantelpiece. You looked a right dip stick. No offence by the way. Let me tell you about my home. It is small but comfortable when the water tank doesn’t leak and wet everything. I suppose I am a bit like you. I have three sisters and no brothers. I would like a bigger house but I would never leave Skye.
