  • Sarah Harris will be doing a writing workshop and craft activity at the Traquair Fair on 31st July/1st August at Traquair House.
     
  • There will be a sheepcalledskye stand at the summer market in the Gathering Hall in Portree from 5th-20th August so come along and check out the sheepy bargains!
     
  • On the 21st and 22nd August A Sheep called Skye will be taking part in the Craft Fair at the Ocean Terminal in Leith, Edinburgh. (www.marketcraft.co.uk)
     
  • Update - 18/04/2010

  • Skye is delighted to announce that there is a new story in the making! The fourth book in the series will be coming out in early 2011. In NO PLACE LIKE SKYE you will be introduced to a new family member and I can assure you life on the island will never be quite the same again. You can pre-order your copy by sending us an email at sf@scotflanders.com and all orders received by the 31st of December 2010 will enjoy a 10% discount!
     
  • Update - 03/09/2009

  • This autumn Skye the sheep will be present at the COUNTRYSIDE FAIR at Flanders Expo in Gent from 30/10 until 2/11/2009. Do come along to this special event and visit our stand where there will be a chance to browse through the books and get to know our great range of products, including the sheep bags from Nepal and the beautiful individually knitted sheep from the Kenana cooperative in Kenya. The young ones can make their own sheep so we are looking forward to the creation of a whole new range of breeds and exhibiting them for other visitors to admire.

  • A Sheep called Skye will also be attending the CELTIC WEEKEND in the Gemeentehallen, Kloosterstraat, Merelbeke from 6 - 8th November where sheep will be made to the cheerful accompaniment of music from 'Clan Mackenzie', the Flemish Caledonian Pipes and drums.
     
  • On the weekend of 28-29th November Skye the sheep is back in Scotland at the Volunteer Hall in Galashiels at the BORDERS WINTER FAYRE where there will be a wide range of activities for children and adults, an opportunity to make your own Christmas card and a chance to discover that unique Christmas gift!

    There's lots happening over the summer! Apart from our great summer action, on the website, running from 15th June to 31st August, it's also possible to visit A Sheep called Skye in person at one of the following venues:

  • At the New Deer Agricultural Show near Turiff on the 18th and 19th of July A Sheep called Skye will be holding a stand where you can view all the products and have the chance to design your own sheep!
     
  • On the 1st and 2nd of August Sarah Harris will be reading from the books and running a craft activity at the
    Art in Action weekend at Traquair House in the Scottish borders.
     
  • On the 9th and 10th of August A Sheep called Skye will be present at the Keith Country Show in Keith, Aberdeenshire, with lots of sheepy activities including the chance to win a Kenana knitted sheep from a fairtrade co-operative in Kenya.
